Precious Plastic UH is a student-run plastic recycling workspace at the University of Houston. From the beginning as a small group of industrial design students inspired by Dave Hakkens' videos, Precious Plastic UH now has a permanent home in the Keeland Design Lab at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and design. In 2021 we acquired an industrial plastic shredding machine and began creating with plastic.
